I just bought my first pair of fluffies (furry boot covers) and I'm planning on wearing with my Halloween costume as well as hooping in them. They are pretty long to the point that I'm tripping on them even if I roll them up a ways. I'm wondering if anyone makes these or has some that they have trimmed the bottoms before? They don't really have a seem but I'm still worried they might unravel or look funky, they are made of a soft, long-haired material. I will most likely end up pinning them under but I was just curious about cutting them. Thanks for any advice.

I made fluffies too and folded the bottoms under and hand sewed them. They look nicer and are furry inside now.
Holy eff your profile pic is freakin' adorable!
; ) aww thanks!!
Most fun fur has a dense back on it and won't fray or unravel.  The most important thing to remember when cutting fur is to comb the fur out of the way so that the end of it is natural and you don't end up with a straight edge cut at the bottom.  Decide your length (cut less first, you can always cut off more), use a comb and comb the fur up and out of the way then cut across.
Awesome! Thanks for the info and thanks for these great sites, I'm a big fan!!
