So I've seen a bunch of tutorials for making pants and shorts and I've done it a handful of times, however I always wind up figuring out a creative way to cover the crotch area after (like putting a mini skirt over it or a hip belt long enough to cover it.) Anyway how do you avoid making it look weird? I either get too much fabric there so it's sorta sagging in that region ...or for lack of a better way to put it a camel toe will happen. I'm totally stumped any insight would be wonderful! Thanks!

It would depend on the type of fabric you are using!  If you are using a stretchy fabric, I will in the middle of the crotch insert a small almond shape (double thickness for thinner fabrics) in to the crotch to give my lady bits some room!  For other fabrics, you can just stitch the crotch a little lower!  You can also try using the crotch from another pair of pants, or a pattern, and then draw the rest of your pants off of that!  I am so sorry if this is confusing!  But if you need some more help, I can try and post a little tutorial!!  Hope this helps!  Oh!  and try this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Es7i00FAGjc&feature=my_liked_vid... - there are a few videos in the series!
