knit- Knitted fabrics can stretch, depending on their material and knitting pattern, up to 500 percent of their original size. Which accounts its historical use for stockings and other form fitting clothing.

Gingham-Striped cotton cloth

Jersey-plain weft-knitted fabric of wool, cotton, nylon or silk. Usually stretchy and light weight.

 

Muslin-fine woven fine cotton. Most often used for making patterns.
