I feel like I spend most of the frozen Midwestern winter living like a penguin in over-sized sweaters and lounge pants. Last winter, however, I bought a beautiful sweater dress (http://www.etsy.com/transaction/13664970) from Tiphzthreads. It's lovely because I can pull it over my other clothes like a coat. It's also cozy all by itself.
Another winter essential is tall socks so I can still wear my wrap pants and skirts without freezing.
How do you dress to express AND stay warm?
Permalink Reply by ShanaArielle on December 14, 2010 at 7:27pm I've found that thermals and wool socks are my winter life savers. I would like to pick up or make one of these though: http://www.gypsyrose.com/product.php?productid=16642&cat=106&am...
My friend owns one and it's her best friend in the winters. It's big enough to layer up underneath but still really adorable and without layers is great for cool summer nights.

Stockings, socks and scarves oh my!. i generally wear tons of layers. some striped stockings with tall socks and maybe even leg warmers over them. ha...i really don't like the cold. i also crochet this really cool elf ish hat last year and it keeps my ears and head nice and warm.

I'm predicting the need for some colorful scarfs and great hats. ; )
